Nightmare experience when doing public online Meeting using Google Meet

 9th May, 9:30pm and only 32 minutes into the online meeting, I just thought new member is trying to join my very popular PLC Programming training course online, that is also free of charge. I accepted 1,2, & 3 new members into the meeting and suddenly and someone started sharing filthy western music video. I was in shock. How to band them immediately? there is a sequence of clicks before I can block them, by that time it was already watched by all my other attendee. How embarrassing! After I block two, there was horrible 3rd person still there. Before I realized anything what to do to prevent this to repeat again - it did. This time worse nightmare. Thirst person shared most filthiest video ever anyone can watch. Again sequence of few click before I can block that person. We had to cut short the meeting. 


Then there was challenge to edit the video without watching the filthy part. Lucky enough we had transcript recorded for the meeting. Sure, enough we got the approximate timeline. And then removed the part.

Cause of Meetbombing was soon understood. I have shared the meeting information in Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn social media. And there is more harm than good when sharing sensitive information like meeting link and passcode to the meeting. 

I have now setup the meeting so that no one is allowed to share screen except me.
